From Trash to Art

As a sustainability enthusiast, I wanted to combine art with an environmental theme to raise awareness on plastic pollution in Hong Kong. While Hong Kong is a beautiful city, in reality, it is now home to plastic. I wanted to depict this message through my artwork and therefore created my piece using trash and recyclables. This painting was created using recycled materials that I collected. These materials include plastic bags, Tetrapak cartons, bottle caps, lai see packets, and bubble wrap.
